A School of Necromancy Wizard commission for @ActualSailorCat on Twitter! I had an awful lot of fun working on this. She has 2 sets of skelly arms growing out of her back, though for the purposes of this commission she ended up with just the one pair visible!

Inktober Day 28: The Tangie
The tangie is actually a type of merman, usually looking like an old man covered in seaweed. Its very presence is said to bring about confusion and derangement, which it uses to its advantage to trick prey into the waters where it resides.

a sketch page for @pythosart of THE INCREDIBLE Abyssal, a lovely centipede hell creature crammed into a stolen body for a decades-long joyride! They’re fantastic. Also pictured is Esther, the hapless ghost who used to own the body Abyssal’s partying in.
The butter comic burst into being in my mind the instant I received this sketch page commission and refused to leave until I exorcise it on paper. I just wanted really badly to 1. draw the butter-eating faces and 2. Esther’s reaction

My half of a sketchpage trade with @flatw00ds! Some more glutton knights and a lovely dragon.
As usual these guys are SUUUUPER fun to draw. It’s great to work with such elastic critters, and frankly I’m happy for any excuse to draw medieval armor.
Despite the fact that I polished the crab legs dude, the second one is actually my favorite….
Definitely make sure to check out Woods’s half of the trade! They did an amazing rendition of my gal Morgan, including her beautiful undead husk form chowing down on some unfortunate soul. MMM SO GOOD

Dragonsmaw’s monsters are so fucked up because you start with “cute-ish, mouth and legs. some skeletal stuff” and then you get to rare and suddenly theres “Amoeba” and “The impaler” and “Fallen angel”
and then you get to super rare AND ITS JUST SOME FUCKING CREATURE IMPALED WITH NAILS NAMED “TORMENTED” LIKE WHAT THE UFCK

Esther died under highly unusual circumstances and became a grumpy but comparatively harmless poltergeist. Imagine her surprise when some day, a few years down the line maybe, she and her witchy pal Rajana come across something a little unexpected. Something wearing Esther’s maimed corpse like a slightly uncomfortable suit, and not even bothering to pretend to be Esther.
And yet, Esther would be primarily horrified by the makeup and heels.
This isn’t really canon right now but we all know how that tends to end up. I am weak.

Sketch pile commission for @snowontheradio of a whole bunch of glutton knights! The painted one is their character Augustine, and the dragon is Augustine’s totally-not-girlfrienemy Linnae. I took some artistic license with their armor, because I’ll take any excuse to draw some of that late medieval articulation. Oh baby, look at those joints.
The rest of the knights are just general fun with the concept!

Here’s a self-indulgent thing that I’ll pretend to have a good reason for
Damaged ISO, because I was talking to a few people about that earlier… Her artificial chromatophores glitch out if her outer skin is damaged, and eventually die and turn white. But a dying ISO body is often quite the little murderous lightshow.
If she loses one body, she can just make another. After all, her “real” body is the unmanned laboratory/probe she came in. She will still send something along to collect the body for recycling, so it’s not a good idea to stick around after destroying one.
The greenish fluid is coolant, present only in her torso and head.
And just for fun, an ISO on its last legs often has a rather distorted voice, like a toy with dying batteries…
